Initial conversation
Tell us about your facility, your case mix, and the kind of coverage you need. We'll discuss whether Sunrise Harbor is a good fit for both sides.
Credentialing and onboarding
Cathy works with your administrator to complete credentialing, align on your facility's anesthesia policies, and ensure all paperwork is in order before the first case.
Schedule confirmation
We agree on a coverage schedule that fits your operating calendar — whether that's full days, partial days, recurring weekly coverage, or per-diem support.
Ongoing partnership
You have one experienced CRNA you and your patients get to know — not a rotating cast of locums. Cases run smoothly because the same person is in your OR every time.
Common questions from facility partners
How is anesthesia billing handled?
Billing arrangements are agreed up front and depend on your facility's existing setup. Cathy can bill anesthesia services directly, or coverage can be arranged through your facility's billing — whichever fits your administrative model.
What is your typical scheduling availability?
Sunrise Harbor accommodates a range of arrangements — recurring weekly coverage, partial-day support, surgical block coverage, and per-diem availability. Schedules are confirmed during onboarding and reviewed periodically.
Can you support complex patients (ASA 3-4)?
Yes. Cathy's hospital and academic background includes high-acuity Level I trauma cases. She conducts a careful pre-procedural assessment for each patient, and will let you know if a particular patient is better suited to a hospital setting before the day of surgery.
Do you provide pediatric anesthesia?
Yes. Cathy is comfortable with pediatric cases — both surgical and dental — and is currently Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified.
Do you provide obstetric anesthesia?
Yes. Cathy has labor and delivery anesthesia experience, including labor epidurals and cesarean section anesthesia, from years of OB practice in hospital settings.
Do you carry your own malpractice and professional liability insurance?
Yes. Cathy carries her own current professional liability coverage. Specific policy details and certificates of insurance are shared with credentialed facility partners during onboarding.
What states are you available in?
Cathy is licensed in New York, Ohio, Florida, and South Carolina. Travel and scheduling logistics are worked out during initial conversations to make sure coverage is sustainable for both sides.
What if our facility doesn't have anesthesia equipment?
Sunrise Harbor is a clinical service, not an equipment service. Cathy works within the equipment, monitors, and medications already in place at your facility. If your facility is not yet equipped for anesthesia, we can discuss what would need to be in place before partnering.
Have a question we didn't cover here?
Cathy is happy to walk through your facility's specific situation directly.
